What is known for the Geran-2 drone that hit a residential building in Romania

The Shahed type trees have been Russia's favourite weapon since the beginning of the total invasion of Ukraine from Moscow in February 2022.
Launched in hundreds, they are used by Moscow to strike military and residential targets, energy objects and civil infrastructure, as well as to defeat Ukraine's air defence in massive attacks.
Because of their distinctive noise and high noise similar to that of bar mowers, they are often called “motorcycle”) in Ukraine.
Check 166 or Geran-2?
Long-range attack Dr. Geran-2 é, often referred to as kamikaz fears, is essentially a Russian version produced in the country of Shahed-136 designed by Iran.
Moscow established assembly lines produced in the country for Geran-2 drones in 2023, a year after its full war with Ukraine.
“Gran” or “geranium” is produced in a factory in Tatarstan, Russia. Since domestic production was established, Russia added its attacks against Ukraine, releasing hundreds of fears within a single night more than were used over the months before in the war.
Geran-2 characteristics
Drons Geran usually fly relatively slowly at 180 km per hour, but their radiation could reach 2,000 kilometers. They can carry a relatively large load of 50kg of explosives.
As Russian ballistic and navigation missiles fly much faster and have greater power, they cost millions and are available only to limited amounts.
A shahed/Gran danger costs between 25,000 and 40,000 euros a very small portion of a ballistic missile.
Geran Masters
Despite EU sanctions banning direct exports, hundreds of components produced by European companies still end up in Russian fears.
Designing the burned remains of the fallen Geran-2 fears, the Ukrainian military intelligence agency determined the anatomy of this model and the components involved.
According to a joint media investigation by the Organised Crime and Corruption Reporting Project (OCCRP) in February, while the total number of components is in hundreds, only a few dozen are Russian-born.
