Fight in a Greek prison, two prisoners die

A violent clash in a prison in northern Greece has ended in the death of two prisoners, according to local media reports.
The event took place in the Nigrita Prison prison, where victims, an Algerian citizen and an Iranian, lost their lives during the conflict. Kathimerini reported that authorities have arrested 11 prisoners, including two persons suspected as the main perpetrators of the assassination.
After the incident, security forces held a raid on prison facilities, where dangerous objects, including improvised knives and wooden boards, were seized.
The causes of the clash remain unclear, while investigations by Greek authorities are under way.
