(a month ago)The deputy chairman of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo, Ardian Gjini, has hosted Italy's ambassador to Kosovo, Maurizio Antonini, today.
The Alliance said that during this meeting “co-operated openly for recent political developments and challenges our country is going through”.
The Italian friendly state over the years has shown particular care and support for the Republic of Kosovo. Italy remains a key contributor to peace and security in the country through the KFOR mission, but also a strategic partner through numerous projects in the area of economic development”.
The AAK said this <x0-friendly and of particular importance” is held on the eve of the elections, a crucial period in which Kosovo's future direction is determined.
“at this political crossroads, the support of our Western allies is vital to ensuring democratic processes, stability and a safe path towards Euro-Atlantic integration. We are extremely grateful for Italy's imminent role, both in the past and at this dynamic and important moment for the future of our country”.
