CEC Certificates Vote List, over 2 million eligible citizens

The Central Election Commission has announced that it has made a decision to Certificate the Vote List for early elections for the Kosovo Assembly, which will be held 7 June.
According to data from this list, the number of Kosovo citizens rightly votes in this election process is 2,092,174 voters.
This list includes 15,884 more voters than in the early elections for Koved, which were held on December 28th 2025.
“According to data from the Vote List, the number of citizens eligible to vote in the polls, in the Republic of Kosovo is 1,959,962 voters, while the number of citizens who are registered to vote outside Kosovo is 132,212 voters, of whom 100,970 have registered to send the ballot in the mailbox outside Kosovo, 3,518 to send out the letter to the mailbox in Kosovo and 27724 to physically vote in the diplomatic representative”, the CEC says.
The number of new voters to vote for the first time in early elections on June 7th is 22,685 voters, of whom 16,934 voters are considered young who, after elections for the Parliament (28.12.2025), have reached the age of 18 and will vote for the first time in early elections for the Kosovo Assembly, to be held on 7 June.
Of them, 8,752 (51.68 %) are males, whereas 8,182 (48.31 %) are female, and 5,751 voters are considered registered for the first time in the Central Civil Register between two sets of elections, or voters who have restored Kosovo citizenship.
According to data from this report, The CEC says the proportion of voters who have left the LPV after elections for the Kosovo Assembly (28.12.2025) is 6,801.
This number includes: 6,165 voters removed as dead persons, listed by the Civil Register Agency (ARC), 419 voters removed because of the loss of the citizenship of the Republic of Kosovo, registered by the ARC, and 217 voters removed from the voting list after KDP accepted the data.
The domestic election process will take place at 949 polling stations, with a total of 2,550 seats, out of which 911 stations with 2,498 seats for regular voting and 38 centres -- from one for each municipality, with 52 seats to enable conditional voting. Meanwhile, the election process abroad, in addition to the postal vote, will be organised at 30 diplomatic representations, of which 17 embassies and 13 consulates -- with a total of 47 seats. The physical vote on these representatives will take place on June 6th 2026”, the CEC says.
