(2 months ago)The Special Court of Appeals has again overturned former President Ilir Meta's request for release from the cell, leaving in force the measure of security in prison, reports A2 CNN.
This ruling comes after the Supreme Court had restored the case for review by April 23rd, but Judge Saida Dolani has again ruled against defence claims, writes A2 CNN.
While Meta has been held in custody since October 2017 on corruption charges at the CEZ- DIA, the LSI lobby in the United States, as well as money laundering and stashing.
