Albania's ambassador visited National Centre for Border Management

The ambassador of the Republic of Albania to Kosovo, Petit Malaj, has visited the National Centre for Border Management (QKMK) of the Ministry of Internal Affairs today.
According to the announcement, the purpose of the visit was within the framework of continued inter-institutional co-operation and exchange of experiences between institutions of the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Albania in the area of integrated border management.
During the meeting, KPC representatives introduced the built mechanisms and capacities under Integrated Border Management (MIK), with particular emphasis on the KPC's role in co-ordinating and co-ordination 24/7 of institutions responsible for border security.
Ambassador Malaj highly praised the work and professionalism of KKPC officials, stressing that this centre represents an advanced model of institutional co-ordination in the region and a key mechanism in preventing illegal activities on the border and within the territory.
It also reaffirmed readiness to continue supporting and co-operating in projects contributing to strengthening cross-border and interstate co-operation. /Periscope
