(a month ago)By the Constitutional Public Prosecutor Skopje, it is known that the public prosecutor has proposed detention for 76-year-old Kosovo involved in the tragic accident in the district of Radisa-Pristina-Mirkovca.
“Public Procuror from the Constitutional Public Prosecutor Skopje has issued orders for the development of the investigative procedure against a Kosovo citizen suspected of serious veg against security of people and property in communications, according to Article 300 paragraph 2, Article 297 paragraph 1 of the Penal Code”, the Prosecutor says.

The public prosecutor from the Constitutional Public Prosecutor in Skopje issued an order to conduct an investigative procedure against a Kosovo citizen suspected of serious Vere against security of people and property in traffic according to Article 300 paragraph 2 concerning Article 297 paragraph 1 of the Penal Code.
The 76-year-old suspect was running an MAN truck with a semi-remorrorchio attached to Kosovo license plates, along the northern ring of Skopje's town, heading west to east.
By doing so, he did not enforce regulations, thus endangering public traffic and endangering people's lives.
When he came near the intersection of Mirkovac, he did not adjust his vehicle's speed to the characteristics and state of the road, traffic density, and other traffic conditions so that he could stop the vehicle in time before any obstacle he could have predicted under the conditions provided. At one point, he lost control of the vehicle and turned left, then hit and broke the metal guard rail and continued to drive, passing through the lane of the highway destined for moving vehicles from the opposite direction, where he was hit on the front of a BMW car moving east to west.
After the crash, the car and truck were swept into flames. Four passengers in the passenger car passed away at the scene.
Since there are circumstances that indicate escape risk and possibility that the suspect repeat the crime, the public prosecutor presented a proposal for the appointment of the detention measure” to the judge of the preliminary procedure.
