US Vice President JD Vance spoke about the Iran war from Budapest, where he went to meet with Hungary's leader, Viktor Orban.
Responding to journalists' questions, the Washington Post asks Vance if there is any new information suggesting an agreement can be reached between the US and Iran.
In response, Vance says the U.S. has completed its “currently” military targets in Iran. He adds that the nature of the end of the war depends on Iranians, explaining that there are “dy road” to end the war.
One is where the <x0);iranians decide that they will be a normal country, will no longer finance terrorism and be part of the world trade system and exchange”.
The other option, Vance says, is “if Iranians don't sit on the table... then the economic situation in Iran will continue to be very, very bad”.
