The United Arab Emirates declared today that Iran must pay compensation for damages caused by its attacks on Gulf countries.
At the same time, they demanded clarification from the United States regarding the terms of the ceasefire agreement.
According to a State Ministry of Emirates statement, the country seeks further clarification on the provisions of the agreement, to ensure Iran's full commitment to the immediate interruption of all hostile actions in the region, as well as the complete and unconditional opening of the Hormuz Strait.
As for Iranian attacks on Gulf states, in the declaration the need for a firm stand is stressed in order to ensure that Iran will bear responsibility for the damages caused and will be forced to pay compensation. /Panorama
