He added that the pope opposed his approach to Iran and reiterated that the country should not have nuclear weapons. Trump said Pope Leo was “too much against” what he was doing with Iran, but insisted there was no reason to apologize for that.

Pope Leon soon responded to earlier criticism. He said he would continue to speak against the war despite Donald Trump's fierce attack at night.
