The U.S. receives Iran's oil sales license, prices go up!

The United States revoted the general license authorising the sale of Iranian oil on Tuesday, after an American official warned that Iran's actions in the Hormuz Strait were <x0).
Oil prices rose by more than 5% after the announcement. The US Treasury said it would allow a period of relief until July 17th for Iran's oil transactions that were allowed under the now revoted license, reports Reuters.
The US official said negotiators continued working with confidence towards a final agreement with Iran despite recent escalation.
The US decision came after three tanks reported being hit by unknown shells in and near the Hormuz Strait in recent days, the agency linked to the British Navy reportedly revealed in a report. KMTO.
US attacks and responses threaten to impose fragile diplomatic understanding between Washington and Tehran on unstable ground, increasing the risk that further revenge could derail negotiations on a broader deal.
