The tough conjufca at the Security Council: Special Court established by Kosovo, not by UNMIK, must report the Parliament

Foreign Minister Glauk Konjufca has spoken to the Special Court at the Security Council.
He has been tough on UNMIK, stressing that the Special is not the creation of Resolution 1244.

The excessive expansion of UNMIK's reporting authority. The Special Court is not being created by Resolution 1244, not established by the Council, do not issue authority there, and they do not belong to UNMIK. The special one has been created with constitutional amendments adopted by the Kosovo Assembly. The legal basis stems from a correspondence between Kosovo and the EU. They are the product of Kosovo's sovereign order. Specialised rooms must report the Kosovo Assembly, like the presence of EULEX based on the agreement between the EU and Kosovo. It should be understood in that frame. Efforts to present Kosovo institutions as neutral status, or in the UN framework are unacceptable”, Konjufca said.
