The news has been made known through a public reaction by lawyer Aurora Mulhaja, who legally represents one of the officials involved, Edion Bajraktari.
According to the defence, this decision marks an important step in respecting legal procedures and the principle of presuming innocence for law officials.
Lawyer Mulhaja has welcomed the decision to suspend the suspension, stressing that this move should not be interpreted at any moment as the preliminary guilty.
This decision confirms that the suspension measure has been temporary and in no case has constituted guilty consent. Their return to work proves that each case should be treated impartially, on the basis of facts and evidence, away from any public prejudice,” Mulhaja expressed her reaction.
In the quality of Edion Bajraktar's legal representative, Mulhrama underlined that this step is necessary for restoring the professional dignity of her client and his colleagues within the Kosovo Police Institute.
