Kremlin spokesman Yuri Usshakov has indicated that the two presidents have discussed the ceasefire with Iran, reports CNN.
“Vladimir Putin believes Donald Trump's decision to extend the ceasefire with Iran is correct, this should provide an opportunity for negotiations and generally help stabilise the” situation, Usakov said.
He also announced that President Putin and Trump also discussed the war in Ukraine.
