After that, there was reaction from LDK Parliamentary Group chief Jehona Lushaku-Sadriou, who responded to LVV statements demanding clarity and challenging the majority to secure the 66 votes needed for the president's election.

In the same line as LDK deputy Avdullah Hoti stressed that the country is located in “the final days”, warning that if presidential election is not achieved, then the country could go to new elections.

We remember that on Saturday the Vetevendosje Movement has asked the Democratic Party of Kosovo and the Democratic League of Kosovo to propose three joint non-party names for president, pledging it would back with signatures and votes to avoid new elections.

The LVV has said that the proposals will wait until Sunday evening (day) two days before the president's election deadline expires.

The PDK has immediately rejected the offer, calling it political maneuver, and stressing that the president's issue is closed to the party, Telegrafi reports. Periscope.

Meanwhile, LDK chairman Lumir Abdixhiku, through a letter to Prime Minister Albin Kurti, has also cited the possibility of Vjosa Osmani's proposal for a new mandate as president, but only if the Vetevendosje Movement guarantees the 66 votes needed in the Parliament.

All these developments come at a critical moment, as the constitutional deadline for election of the president ends April 28th.

If the Assembly fails to elect the new head of state within that deadline, the country risks facing a new political crisis and the possibility of early elections.
