Three people arrested for theft in Poslict Prizren, gold benches

According to the Prizren Regional Police Directorate's announcement, around 00:06 has been accepted information on a developing theft, with police patrol cases reacting immediately and managed to stop the three suspects at the scene. The detainees have been identified with initials B.H., N.A. and D.P., all from Prizren.

At the scene, units of investigation and the crime-technique have emerged, where several ornaments and jewelry allegedly made of gold were seized during the search. They were found in the vehicle used by the suspect as well as in the body of one of them.

After recording and photographing evidence, at the order of the prosecutor, stolen items have been returned to the owner.

The State Prosecutor has been notified about the case and ordered the launch of criminal procedure against suspects, who have been detained for 48 hours. The vehicle used while doing the work has also been confiscated.

Authorities make it known that the exact value of stolen jewelry has not yet been determined, while suspects will undergo interviewing for other possible similar cases.
