This resolution, which received the support of all parliamentary groups, testified that issues related to our sacrifice and national history could and should have full institutional unity.
The PDK estimates that this is an important moment of political reflection and responsibility, where the Kosovo Assembly stood up on party differences to defend historical truth and to honour the victims of war and their families with dignity.
The adoption of this resolution is evidence that when there is political will, our institutions can act together in defense of the fundamental values of our state.
The Democratic Party of Kosovo stresses that protection of the truth for the liberation war and respect for victims are not a matter of political debate, but a permanent institutional and moral obligation.
The PDK will continue to be committed to implementing such decisions in practice and for historical truth to be protected from any attempt to distort or relativism.
