Parliament holds a minute of silence for academic Rexhep Qosja

Albanian academic, writer and literary critic Rexhep Qosja has died Thursday at the age of 90, his family reported. In honor of Qruja's life, in Kosovo April 24th was a day of mourning.

Valjet Rexhepi, his nephew, wrote on Facebook that Qosja died and was buried Thursday in a private family ceremony.

“As if the deceased were willing, no family reception ceremony would be organised. The family will not participate in institutional arrangements. We wish our privacy would be respected and allowed to mourn in peace! Rex1> wrote Rexhepi. /Periscope
