Opposition victory, Von der Leenen: Hungary chose Europe

After the historic victory of the Hungarian opposition, the first reactions from the European Union have also come.

The first to have reacted was European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen.

“Hungary has chosen Europe. Europe has always chosen Hungary. Together, we are stronger. A country regains its European path. The union becomes stronger”, it wrote.

Other European leaders have also launched initial reactions after the elections in Hungary, congratulating the victory of the opposition Magyar.
