The event, carried out on April 13th 2026, initially resulted in the arrest of two people, while then two others, leading to four total numbers of detainees -- A.D., S.S., M.S. and M.B.
According to the official announcement, suspects face charges of participation or organisation of the organised criminal group, purchase, ownership, distribution and unauthorized narcotics sales, as well as money laundering.
“During the operation, authorities have seized about 17kg and 900 grams of heroin, a considerable amount allegedly prepared for transport. By order of the court, raids have been conducted at four different locations, where other material evidence to be used in criminal procedure has been confiscated besides narcotics. At the prosecutor's decision, the detainees were detained for 48 hours. Within that deadline, Kosovo's Special Prosecutor is expected to apply for the appointment of the detention measure at the Constitutional Court in Pristina”, the SPRK report said.
As of the announcement, it becomes known that the investigations thus far have enabled the identification of persons and locations where the criminal group operated, as well as the location of the site where narcotics was kept.
