US President Donald Trump has announced in the early hours of Wednesday with Kosovo's time that he agrees with a two-week proposed ceasefire between the US and Iran if ship traffic is allowed to move through the Hormuz Strait.
Israel has also announced that it supports Trump's decision to suspend attacks on Iran, but has added that the two-week ceasefire “did not include Lebanon”.
Oil prices have dropped significantly since the ceasefire announcement, now being traded below $100 per barrel.
