MPs “are not coping with hard work”: They take it from a personal assistant with a salary of up to 900 euros

Some 75 Kosovo Assembly deputies in the tenth legislature have seized the right to have personal assistants. More than half of the deputies of the Vetevendosje Movement are currently with senior personal officials, 15 out of 22 of the Democratic Party of Kosovo (PDK) have used rights, five of the 14 deputies of the Democratic League of Kosovo have assistants, and five of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK).
In the list published by the Vetevendosje Movement names like: Roseta Hajdari, Agim Bahtiri, Adriana Matoshi, Egzon Azemi, Taulant Kelmendi and Valon Ramadani have received personal assistants.
Meanwhile, in the Democratic Party of Kosovo, the right to assistants has been used by Bedri Hamza, Enver Hoxhaj, Arrian Tahiri, Nundman Rama, Ganimete Musliu, Sala Jashari, and others.
In the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK), assistants have engaged in the Lumir Abdixhiku Parliament, Lutfi Haziri, Hykmete Bajrami, Fadil Haderjnik and Janina Ymer.
To the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK) with assistants in this nomenclature are: Ramush Haradinaj, Time Kadrijaj, Besnik Tahiri, Daut Haradinaj and Bekle Berisha.


The Kosovo Assembly has announced to Insiderin that the list of senior personal officials and committed deputies is until 31 March this year.
An assistant's salary, with additions and hires, could amount to up to 900 euros gross.
An assistant engagement is based on Rule No. 08/R-004 for Portions on the Basis for MPs and for the Page's rating of the Republic of Kosovo Political Support Staff.
