Of them, six have been taken into custody by the court's ruling branch in Vushtrri, and two others at the court's decision in Skenderaj.
Mitrovica's prosecution announced that a total of 27 persons have applied for the appointment of a security measure, while hearings have been held today in Mitrovica, Vushtrri and Skenderaj.
The April 18th operation has been carried out by the Constitutional Prosecutor in Mitrovica in co-operation with the Kosovo Police and the Directorate for Investigation of Organised Crime and Randa Crime, including the Mitrovica, Vushtrria, Istog and Skyright region.
According to official data, 34 suspected persons have been accompanied during the action and around 50 locations, including local business and private homes, have been searched.
Also, around 170 thousand euros of cash have been seized, five vehicles, firearms, as well as other equipment allegedly used for the development of illegal activities.
At the prosecutor's decision in the case, 29 people have been sent to maintenance, while others have been released in regular procedure. / KP
