Merdare: Undeclared electric cigarettes, worth about 10,000 euros

Kosovo customs has seized undeclared goods from an international line bus in Merdare.

According to the announcement, the case occurred on Saturday (April 4th), where an international line bus is said to have been on display.

Customs officials have asked the driver of the vehicle if there were goods to declare, with the same case being negatively answered.

“In co-operation with the Kosovo Police, the vehicle is selected for second-line control and has been sent to detailed control space. During this check, in the engine section as well as in the toilet space, hidden merchandise” has been discovered.

Three packets of electronic cigarettes, in the amount of 500 pieces, worth approximately 10,000.00 euros”, Dogan reported.

The institution suggested it has taken respective actions by temporarily preventing goods until the administrative procedures were completed.
