In a statement, she says she called for a “urgent need for full implementation” of the November 2024 enemies-cut agreement.
This was an agreement reached after 13 months of fighting between Israel and Hezbollah, which gave the Iranian-backed group 60 days to end his armed presence in southern Lebanon.
Moawawaad adds that she also called for a ceasefire and for the return of displaced persons to their homes.
She says she emphasised “the complete sovereignty of Lebanon on all Lebanese lands” and called for measures to facilitate the acute humanitarian crisis “” caused by the conflict.
The date and place for further talks will be announced at a later date, it concludes. /Periscope
