France's President Emmanuel Macro has congratulated the opposition leader in Hungarian, Péter Magyar, on his election victory, during a telephone conversation between them
“I have talked with Péter Magyar to commend him for victory in Hungary,” has declared Macro, adding that France praises democratic participation and the commitment of Hungarian citizens to the European Union's values.
“I just spoke to Peter Magyar to commend him for his victory in Hungary! France welcomes this victory for democratic participation, for Hungarian people's commitment to European Union values and for Hungary's European country. Together, let's build a more sovereign Europe for the security of our continent, our competitiveness and our democracy”, Macron wrote on Facebook.
