Kosovo's “Battle, 21 years ago, was just the first phase of the operation “Arrow” This glorious battle increased the tested KLA's self-confidence, causing for the first time the partitioning border between Kosovo and Albania, where the Serbian Army suffered great defeat.
Kostare's battle was a clear military triumph and a clear message to the population expelled from Kosovo, that soon the displaced would return to their hearths. While breaking the border was the message that the supply of weapons to remote areas within Kosovo was possible at that time.
