The KLA war veterans' organisation has reacted to the response that Kosovo Specialised Chambers in The Hague have made to the Parliament Resolution for former KLA leaders.
This organisation says the TSF's response cannot be treated as a simple formal act.
The reduction of this resolution in an administrative announcement, without visible reflection in content, constitutes an unacceptable approach to the institution that itself established this” court.
We remember that the Specialised Chambers stem from the decision-making of the Kosovo Assembly and, as such, cannot behave as being cut off from its political and sovereign will. A response that is basically translated as a "we've received knowledge, but we act on ours is not only disappointing but also harmful to belief in justice”, O said VL-KLA.
The War Veterans' Organisation said the KLA waged a fair and necessary fight for freedom, and stressed that its leaders deserve to be treated with dignity and full equality.
Any process that ignores this reality and continues to weigh unjustly on Kosovo, serves neither justice nor peace”, it said in that response.
O V L The KLA demanded that the Parliament resolution be addressed with full seriousness and reflected in concrete decision-making.
“Respecting the sovereignty and institutions of Kosovo is not the option, but forcing”, concluded O VL-KLA.
According to an official communication published by Nacional, Trandafilova confirmed Resolution's accession, but no more, stressing that chamber legislation guarantees fair judgment and judicial independence.
“10-001, approved on February 12th 2026, dealing with court procedures before the Specialised Chamber. The legal framework regulating the Specialised Chambers, as approved by the Assembly of Kosovo, includes known international standards of fair judgment and strong guarantees of judicial independence”, said the Trendafilves report.
