Iran expects to restore most of the damaged refining and distribution facilities at 7050% of their capacity before the attacks within one to two months, a senior oil official said, while authorities work to recover from a wave of attacks on energy infrastructure, Reuters writes.
Deputy Minister of Oil Mohammad Sadeq Azifar told Student News Network that repair work had begun and that part of the Lavan refinery is expected to resume operations within about 10 days, while other units will return to function gradually.
