Homazhe at the Memorial “Heroina” on the Day of Sex Violence Survivors in Kosovo

U.d. The president of the Republic of Kosovo, once Speaker of the Parliament Albulen Haxhiu, along with Prime Minister Albin Kurtin and with the government cabinet, has been homazhe at Memorial “Heroina”.

Today is marked the Memorial Day of the Survivors of Sex Violence during the End War in Kosovo. By marking this day, the suffering and trauma of those who have experienced sexual violence during the war in Kosovo are commemorated.

This day aims to recognise the injustice experienced and trauma as a result of such crimes and also raise awareness of delayed justice and the fight against stigma. / EO
