Headship meeting held, scheduled for next session

The head of the Kosovo Assembly, beginning at 2:00 today, will hold the next meeting, in which a series of procedural issues are expected to be considered and the agenda is determined for the upcoming plenary session. Under the main point of the agenda, the proposal for the plenary session agenda, which is expected to include some important legislative and political points, will be discussed.
The plenary session, under the proposal, will begin with the adoption of the processverbal from last session, to continue with statements outside the agenda and parliamentary questions.
Next, MPs are expected to review and vote on several bills for ratification of international loan agreements, including those with the International Development Association, the French Development Agency and KfW, related to financial sector development, energy, climate, and ease of trade and transport in the Western Balkans.
Also, a draft resolution vote regarding rising oil prices, lack of government intervention, and its impact on the cost of living and economic stability in the country is envisioned.
The Assembly will also review the election of a non-professional member to the Kosovo Prosecutorial Council, as well as a draft resolution for the protection of historic war truth in Kosovo 19981999.
In the end, the AAK Parliamentary Group's proposal for the appointment of MP Duda Balje is expected to be addressed on parliamentary commissions.
