Through a post, Haradinaj has recalled that this side's contribution culminated with the 126th Brigade of the Kosovo Liberation Army, which was on the front lines of battles until the day of victory.
He has made it known that in Lugith, Hasi, along with Sheh Xhemajli, family, and fellow fighters, 14 martyrs have been highly honored and 40 martyrs in the area have been commemorated.
Haradinaj has stressed that this side's fighters directly faced the enemy, striking decisive blows before the surrender, while adding that in retaliation, Serbian state forces terrorised the civilian population, killing over 40 Albanians, mostly young people.
He also commemorated the 11th anniversary of Safet Gashi's death, which he named as a teacher who became a war strategy and led the KLA's 126th Brigade into numerous battles.
In the same post, Haradinaj has also remembered the 27th anniversary of the Gjilan Lystica massacre, honouring 26 martyrs who fell during April 13th, 1999.
He has also recalled the tragic events in Istog University, where nine Albanians were killed, as well as in the Old Village of Ferizaj, where Serb forces executed members of the Zeka and Hoxha families.
