The Constitutional Court in Pristina has condemned government spokesman Arlind Manjuka and MP Egzon Azemi to 1 year and 6 months in prison for inciting division. While accused Eddie Zenelaj and Qerim Elshani were sentenced to six months for deportation.
On the basis of the amended indictment in 2026, Kosovo Government spokesman Arlind Manjuka and LV deputy Egzon Azemi are charged with criminal work “Displacement and Disincretion”, while Qerim Elshani and Edi Zenelaj are charged with “Candating “to Afrem Shefrekiut, special prosecutor and Mentor Bajraktar, judge of the Foundation Court in Pristina. In the first decision on this case, the Foundation had freed Manjuka from charges of inciting division, Azzam and Elshan sentenced them to six months in prison for beating, while Zenelaj to six months in prison for inciting division. Following Dejan Pantic's release from custody, then suspected of carrying out the terrorist work in December 2022, Azemi distributed the cytatin “trackers, the bullet has been retaligated at” and Manjuka has written that “this act is a treason act of”.
Elshani, meanwhile, is accused of writing on this social network the post that states that prosecutor's judge “should be bombed in his mouth”, while Zenelaj allegedly wrote X-rays in Pristina with the names of Judge Mentor Bajraktari and Prosecutor Africa Shefschiu, calling them “a disgrace “”. / KOHA
