Thus writes Nacionale, who reports that power has discussed other downloads in diplomacy.
A source from the presidency has told the paper that Albin Kurti, Glauk Konjufca and Albulen Haxhiu have discussed cutting off the mandate of many ambassadors of the Republic of Kosovo in the world and returning them home.
On January 26, 2024, Vehbi Miftaraj had been appointed leader of the Kosovo mission at the Holy See.
By that time, Miftaraj had served as adviser to President Vjosa Osmani.
“Today, after three years of working as political adviser to President Vjosa Osmani, I completed my commitment to the Office of the President of Kosovo. It has been a very valuable experience in serving the Republic. I thanked the President for the overall co-operation and for the confidence she and the other institutions of the country have given me to lead the newly founded mission of Kosovo to the Holy/Vatican headquarters.”, he wrote Miftaraj on his Facebook account after being appointed ambassador by President Vjosa Osmani.
This appointment was made shortly after Osman announced the opening of this mission.
On January 12th, Vjosa Osmani had announced that he has decreed the opening of Kosovo's special mission to the Vatican.
Asso Osmani had estimated that recognising Kosovo by the Holy See would affect the further empowering of Kosovo's citizenship and in the country's process and integration into Euro-Atlantic structures.
The Foreign Service Law shows the role of special missions.
“The interim mission, representing the Republic of Kosovo in another state or international organisation, with their consent, to negotiate or carry out specific tasks that are in the interest of the Republic of Kosovo”, said in law.
