Democrats call “ill” Trump following Iran's serious threat

Chuck Schumer, the leading Democrat leader in the Senate, has named Donald Trumpin a highly ill “ <x0 person”, in response to the president's recent posting of the Social Truth, where he said that “an entire civilization will die tonight” if Iran fails to meet its 20:00 deadline ET to reopen Hormuz Strait.

Any republic that refuses to join us to vote against this foolish and elected war itself is responsible for any consequences of what the hell is happening, Schumer added.

Other Democrats have sharply criticised Trump's latest remarks, just hours before he promised to implement his threat to crack down on civilian infrastructure and power plants in Iran.

Chris Murphy, a Democrat senator who is part of the Foreign Relations Committee, said the Trump's plan is to kill thousands of innocent Iranians and hope for a civil war that somehow ends with the reopening of Hormuz Strait”.

Murphy also stressed the global energy crisis that has escalated since the start of the war and rising oil prices.
