CEC pending election date, Elesi shows first decision expected to be made

Elez said the election organisation will take place in the short term.

He added that one of the first decisions the CEC will take, after setting the date, will be reviewing electoral activities deadlines and adjusting them under circumstances.

According to him, this will depend on the time available for organising the process, from the moment the election is declared to the day of the vote.

“We are currently awaiting the decision on the official appointment date for holding elections. Their organisation will take place in the short deadlines, and one of the first decisions the CEC will make after the election date is officially set, then it will be the change of time deadlines of electoral activities and the adjustment of them as necessary and circumstances. This will depend on how much we have available to organise the electoral process from the day the date of the election announced to the day of elections”, Elez has declared in Dukagjin. /Periscope
