Albania: The weapons base supplied by criminal groups is discovered, the mother is arrested in search of her son

Police have seized nine machine guns, 1 rifles and 3 pistols, 1 hunting rifles, silencers, uniforms and equipment similar to those of the police, about 900 rounds of combat, fireballs and detonators.

As a result, it has been declared in search of the base of arms, while it has been brought into shackles by a 66-year-old (in his son).

As a result of the rapid management of information provided on the operational-legal route, that a weapons base aimed at selling weapons to the criminal groups was maintained and finalised police operation coded “Picalla” in the village.

The identification and impact of this weapon base was possible during the operation. From the control exercised in the residence of citizens O. Q, five automatic firearms were found and seized, 1 rifle gunguns, 3 gunguns, 1 hunting rifles, 1 quays, silencers, uniforms and equipment similar to those of the police, as well as about 900 rifles of various calibres, fireballs, and detonators.

Following the actions, citizen M was arrested in French. H., 66, resident in Tirana, while being declared a citizen of O. Q., 41, resident in Tirana.

Weapons will be sent to the Institute of Scientific Police, for expertise, with the aim of verifying their use in criminal events.
