Albania aims to secure financing from the European Union for several strategic projects in the energy sector, including the development of Moglica hydropower plant and the strengthening of the interconjation line with Kosovo.
These initiatives are included in the list of projects the Energy Community has released in public consultation for the Energy Community's Interest Projects for 2026.
The biggest project is that of Moglica, which aims at creating a giant <x0-bacterie<x1).
It is also important to reconfiguration the 400kV network and to build a new intervention with Kosovo.
Projects presented before the Energy Community are financed by various sources, including the EU, financial institutions and the private sector.
Several states benefit from this money simultaneously, aiming to boost regional co-operation. For Albania, they represent a step towards modernising the energy sector. /rtsh.al
