A 19-year-old Albanian was arrested by carabinieri at the Torvanica station in Italy on the charge of cocaine trafficking, after a large amount of drugs hidden inside his car was found.
The merchandise was divided into 90 doses, ready to be sold. Karabiniers said they are investigating to discover a possible organised drug trafficking network.
The young man was noticed by carabinieri as he was moving suspiciously with a vehicle during a territorial patrol. Suspects of his movements, the officers decided to stop him for further investigation.
During the person's search and his vehicle, carabinieri found approximately 90 cocaine doses hidden in a split below the speeder, as well as 130 euros in cash, believed to be the potential income from cocaine trafficking.
The drug - hiding system was designed to quickly avoid any control, confirming the possibility of a widespread cocaine - trafficking operation that had long begun in the southern coastal area of Lacio.
