Over 122 thousand euros seized in the White earth

Kosovo customs has reportedly confiscated over 122 thousand euros and foreign currency at the Dheu White border crossing.

According to the announcement at the border checkpoint intervention, a vehicle with foreign license plates has been presented, run by a foreign citizen of the Republic of Romania with a total of 4 travellers.

“During the standard customs question concerning the possession of monetary means on the legal threshold allowed by 10,000 euros per person, the side has been declared to have no means for statements.
Following the selection of initial control by customs officials, a handbag in which 32,500 euros were hidden has been found.
Following the findings of this irregularities and the customs official's question on the non-recognition of monetary means, the side has responded that “have been entitled to up to 10,000 euros per person””, said among other things in the report

Over 122 thousand euros and foreign currency seized during border failure
The White Law -- April 29, 2026, Kosovo Customs, in co-operation with the Border Police -- has prevented a case of non-recognition of monetary means at the Dheu White border crossing during entry into the territory of the Republic of Kosovo.
At around 09:15, a foreign license vehicle, run by a foreign citizen of the Republic of Romania with a total of 4 travellers, has been presented at the entrance of the PKK.
During the standard customs question regarding the possession of monetary means on the legal threshold of 10,000 euros per person, the side has declared to have no means for statements.
Following the selection of initial control by customs officials, a handbag in which 32,500 euros were hidden has been found.
Following the findings of this irregularities and the customs official's question on the non-recognition of monetary means, the side has responded that “are eligible for up to 10,000 euros per person”.
Based on the allegations raised, the vehicle has been sent to the second line of control, where in co-operation with the Border Police, detailed control has been conducted. During the search, additional 90,100 euros have been discovered in the trunk of the vehicle, in hidden spaces in the acumulator's section and under the plastic of the spare tire, as well as 4,187 Romanian lei (about 800 euros).
In total, undeclared monetary means of value have been discovered and seized:
• 122,600 euros
• 4,187 Romanian lei (about 800 euros)
The case has been followed for further investigations, until Kosovo Customs recalls that, in accordance with legislation in force, any person who enters or leaves Kosovo customs territory and carries monetary means worth over 10,000 euros is obliged to declare them.
Disadmission of monetary means constitutes legal violations and is subject to proper administrative and legal procedures.
