The country's president, Vjosa Osmani, has been declared after Kurti's party, LVV, did not even propose for president for a mandate Osman was seeking.

She added she has not conditioned Prime Minister Albin Kurti with anything even for a mandate, but all she has asked was the only chance to get to the Assembly Hall to see the number of MPs standing in the hall and votes of the ruling coalition.

He claimed that Prime Minister Albin Kurti himself had communicated to him that they did not support him.

Osmani even said Kurti had praised her work to the superlative by telling “the best president in the 21-8x1> century.

The Constitutional Court on Monday has imposed temporary measures on Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani's decree to disperse the Kosovo Assembly.

The complaint in the Constitution had been handed over by Kosovo Prime Minister Albin Kurti on behalf of the Government of Kosovo. He had sought to assess the constitutionality of the president's decree on the distribution of the Assembly, as well as the deployment of the provisional measure.

Under the provisional measure, which is valid until 31 March, “any action by the President of the Republic of Kosovo concerning the decree [inn. 24/2026) of March 6, 2026, as well as to ban any action of the Republic of Kosovo Assembly, in the length specified according to March 31st II of that decision; (ii) to order that the provisional measure comes into force on March 9, 2026, in length until March 31, 2026
