Tragedy in Prizren, 81-year-old infantry dies after being hit by car, police details

The accident has ended in tragedy after an 81-year-old man with initial D.H. has remained dead.

According to police information, the victim was a pedestrian and a car hit in an attempt to cross the street.

On the date of 22.03.26, around 18:30, a traffic accident was reported in the PrizrenGjakoviane, in the village of Pira, Prizren. According to first information, a footman was hit by a car in the attempt to cross the street. As a result of severe bodily injuries, the D.H. infantry, a male about 81-year-old, has passed away at the scene, which has been recorded by the emergency medical team. Police units have appeared immediately at the scene and have taken the necessary investigative actions. The suspect has been arrested and, under the prosecutor's decision, has been detained for further procedures. At the prosecutor's order, the victim's lifeless body has been sent to the Law Medicine Institute in Pristina.
