The summer hour ends this year on October 25 at 3: 00 a.m., so moving an hour back, 3: 00 a.m.
The reason is simple and linked to an unchanged rule of the European Union: Summer hour always begins on the last Sunday of March, as winter hour returns on the last Sunday of October.
Since the days of the week fall on different dates each year, the actual date of late March also changes. In 2026, the last Sunday of the third month falls on March 29, so the change of the hour will occur earlier than a year ago.
In practice, at 2:00 p.m., scorpions will be moved to three o'clock, which means citizens will lose an hour's sleep, but days will last longer.
