Surrenders to police suspect from the village of Saquevo in Suhareka, more than 500 kilos of drugs were discovered last year in the stable

Regarding this criminal case, the Constitutional Prosecutor in Prizren, in co-operation with the Kosovo Police on the 1609.2025 date, had held a action during which an object in a (stoll) village of Macqiteva ʹThe Suhareka municipality has been discovered and seized a large amount of the drug-like narcotic substance { cannabis sativa, over half a tonne, exactly 512kg, in various phases of processing and drying.
During the action have been seized: a grenade launcher, an arm rocket, a hunting rifle, rifle bullets, a tractor with trailers, tools and tools used for cultivation and processing, two mobile phones, and other material evidence.
Also, the prosecution has issued provisional orders for the sequistrim/reserving of two area parcels of 1963 m2 and 1438 m2, which are located in the village of Makatevo.
Regarding these actions, the prosecution has initiated criminal proceedings against the F.N., and, according to the reported suspicion, the defendant in an indefinite period of time until the 1609.2025th, in the mountainous part of the village of Maquiteva, has deliberately cultivated the cannabis sativa plant with a view to producing and preparing for selling narcotics and distributing this substance on the market.
With these actions, the same is alleged to have committed criminal acts “Qualisation of the hashish plant, cocaine bush or cannabis plants” by Article 272, “Blerja, possession, distribution and unauthorized narcotics sale”267, and “keep the control, or unauthorised possession of weapons<5>, according to the Penal Code of the Republic of Kosovo.
The defendant is in detention for 48 hours, and for the same prosecution, he has filed a request for the detention measure's appointment.
