At this stage, commercial consumers with over 50 employees or annual circulation of over 10m euros will no longer be supplied with tariffs regulated by the Universal Service supplier and are obliged to select a licensed supplier to the open market.
Based on the Kosovo Tax Administration's data, a number of businesses no longer meet the criteria for being part of the universal service, therefore KESCO will not be able to continue providing them with tariffs arranged by this date.
Businesses, which meet the established criteria, should select a licensed supplier and initiate the change procedure at least 21 days before the new contract's entry into force. The list of licensed suppliers is published on the ZRE official page.
In the event the supplier is not selected over time, the business will be provisionally supplied by the Last possible supplier for up to 60 days. After that deadline, in the absence of contract, the supply could be cut under legislation in effect.
Businesses that are self-consumers (prosumers) are announced that from this date the current scheme of regulated tariffs ends, and the energy produced will be treated according to contract with the selected supplier.
To ensure the exact treatment of your business during this process, K ESCO invites all businesses that have met the criteria to go out on the open market to confirm and report to the company the units/the consumer qualities that are being exploited by their business. The consumer figure can be found in the upper part of the electricity bill.
