The Constitution has accepted the demands of Prime Minister Albin Kurti on behalf of the Government and Arberie Nagavci on behalf of 30 deputies, praising that President Vjosa Osmani's decree on the distribution of the Assembly has no legal effect.
Under the Court's decision, Parliament deputies have 34 days from the day of their entry into force of this act to develop and complete the process of electing the president of the Republic of Kosovo.
In this regard, Nova Democratska head Stranka (NDS) Emilja Rexhepi said she respects the Constitutional decision and demanded that Albanian MPs and majority parties put aside party disputes to vote within the deadline.
“Respect the Constitutional Court's decision, we have the opportunity to elect the president of the state within the 30-day period, I hope that MPs' reasoning prevails and that the Albanian majority parties put aside party disputes at the time of the serious global geopolitical crisis and vote”, she said.
Despite the 30-day deadline, Rexhepi thinks the country could go too fast towards extraordinary elections.

In a proposal for “Front Online”, Emilja Rexhepi, NDS chairman was asked about the party's position on candidates proposed for president.
Rexhepi said there will be no vote for Çfarfardo candidate.
“Of course I won't vote for anyone, we will see who the candidate will be, at the moment by LVV has been nominated Glauk Konjufca and will surely vote for him”, she said.
