“can confirm that we have started by May of last year the gradual removal of measures, while in December 2025 Commission President Ursula von der Leyen warned the removal of other measures. I can confirm that the Commission has now released all financial assistance means, funds for Kosovo”, he has said.
During the debate, Kosovo rapporteur Ruiho Terras sharply criticised these measures, saying they have had major consequences for citizens, civil society and all society in Kosovo. /Time/
