Middle Eastern countries reported new air strikes Monday morning, the first wave of attacks since Iran chose a new supreme leader.
Mojtaba Khamenei, son of the former supreme leader, was elected as the new leader and several hours after his election, launched a new wave of attacks on Middle Eastern countries.
CNN's team in the United Arab Emirates reported hearing some of the most noisy sounds of war this morning. The country's defence ministry said the attacks were recorded, but its air defence responded and investigated ballistic missiles and feared Iran.
Saudi Arabia reported four fears heading towards the Shaybah oil field, one of the largest in the region. He said the drones were intercepted in the desert and then destroyed.
Kuwait's National Guard also dropped a fear in what it said was one of its protected sites.
Qatar's defence ministry said it has intercepted the missile attack.
In addition, videos from Bahrain show that the biggest damage to the recent Iranian attacks was caused in Bahrain, where a refinery was hit, as well as in the city of Sitra.
Videos from social media showed a major fire and heavy smoke over the state refinery BAPCO, after which the company announced it was suspending oil deliveries. The city of Sitras was also hit, and authorities said 32 people were injured, including children.
Iran has also regularly targeted Israel, and sirens were heard in the north. Israeli media write they believe a ballistic missile was seized.
On the other hand, Israel has also launched a wave of attacks on what its army said were locations of the Iranian missile launch. CNN's team in Tehran reported that air strikes were heard throughout the capital.
The Israeli army also said it had hit Hezbollah's infrastructure in Lebanon and clouds of smoke were seen over Beirut. In addition, a fire broke out in a hotel in Beirut as a result of the attack.
The Israeli Army claims that several senior commanders of the Kurdish Corps of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard were killed in Beirut.
