Reagon KRU Pristina: The damage to the soil is connected to the water supply network, but with excavations and field work, we wait for tests

According to initial estimates on the ground, the company stresses that the case is not related to the water supply network, but to interventions and excavations in the area, which have destabilised the layers of soil and caused the slide, further damaging infrastructure.
The company suggests that professional teams and engineers will conduct a detailed analysis to assess the land situation and the impact of the works, demanding that early results be avoided without final technical report. CRU “Pristina” is owned for transparency and warns that it will inform the public with verified data, while calling on operators to respect standards and security procedures to prevent similar cases.
As a result, some parts of the capital have remained without electricity.
Full announcement:
CRU “Pristina” is carefully forwarding the situation created after the collapse of soil and reported damage to the water supply infrastructure.
Based on initial observations on the ground and published images, it is estimated that this situation is not related to the water supply network, but rather to the activities of excavations and land interventions, which have contributed to the destabilisation of soil layers and the creation of conditions for slides. As a result of this slide, water infrastructure in the area has also been damaged.
CRU Pristina emphasises that professional and technical capacities, including specialised engineers, will do a detailed analysis of the situation on the ground. This analysis will include the assessment of the land situation, the impact of the work done, as well as the verification of any possible impact on the water supply network.
Until the conclusion of these tests and the final professional report, we recommend that no early conclusions be given and that responsibility be attributed to the water supply network without facts and real technical assessments.
CRU Pristina remains committed to full transparency and will inform public opinion in time as soon as there are accurate and verified results.
At the same time, we call on all operators and parties working on the ground to respect technical standards and security procedures so that similar situations in the future can be avoided and to preserve the integrity of public infrastructure. /Periscope
