European Commission officials have confirmed this, specifying that Commissioner Kos has already informed Prime Minister Kurti of her decision.
Commissioner Kos aims to travel to Pristina as soon as possible, the European Commission's press office said.
Kos's visit was in advance for mid-week.
Kosovo is the only country that is part of its portfolio, which she has not yet visited, though it holds the European post since December 2024.
During the past year, the reason for the visit was the institutional crisis in the country. Immediately after the December 28th elections, she warned a visit to Kosovo once institutions were formed in the country.
It was also supposed to coincide with the news of the removal of measures against Kosovo.
European officials, meanwhile, have expressed regret for the recent political developments in Kosovo. They do not want to be promoted further, as they are awaiting the final decision of the Constitutional Court. /rtk
